Rules

Users of Barnley Dog Park agree to adhere to the rules/terms set out below. The terms apply to every booking and are valid at the time of making your booking. You can view full terms online here or download a PDF of terms here.

Booking

  • Booking is via the website/Facebook using the booking system
  • Full payment is taken at the time of booking
  • By booking you agree to the full Terms & Conditions below
  • Sessions can be cancelled/rescheduled up to 24hours before arrival

Use of Barnley Dog Park

  • Barnley Dog Park is located on a working farm and livery yard. It is therefore possible/likely you will encounter other users including people and horses outside if the field. It should also be noted that horses are visible from the dog field.
  • The user understands that Barnley Dog Park is a natural space. It therefore contains uneven ground and natural features in places. Appropriate footwear should be warn for the conditions.
  • Please ensure your dog is healthy and shows no signs of sickness 
  • Your dogs welfare is your responsibility
  • Dogs should be treated reasonably on site at all times

Arrival & Departure

  • Please do not arrive early for your session
  • If you arrive and the previous session is still in progress please use the space opposite the field gate to wait with your dog inside the car
  • The gate opens outwards
  • Please park inside the enclosure and securely close the gate behind you
  • Please no more than two cars. This is a condition of our planning
  • Pleas ensure you are clear of site before the end of your session
  • Please leave the gate hooked open when you depart

General Rules

  • Please scoop your poop using your own biodegradable bags. A small number of bags are available in case you have forgotten or run out of bags.
  • If you come across a missed poop please help us by picking this up. We hope the “pay it forward” approach will help keep the site clear.
  • Please keep your dog within the secure field. The tracks etc are for other site users.
  • If outside the site (for example if you choose to park immediately outside of the field) your dog must be on a lead
  • Please keep the site tidy

Use of Equipment

  • Equipment inside the fence is for the enjoyment of our four legged friends. Please make sure they are capable before encouraging them to play.
  • Please do not allow yourself to be drawn into playing on the exercise equipment… These are only for four legged fun!
  • The seating area is for humans only, please no dogs on the seats
  • If digging in the sandpit please level any holes with the provided rake before you leave
